Nollywood director Kemi Adetiba has officially announced the highly anticipated third installment of her hit franchise, “King of Boys,” set to premiere in December 2025.
The announcement coincided with her 45th birthday, and she shared an exciting teaser video featuring a call from the film’s lead star, Sola Sobowale. In the teaser, Sola’s powerful voice declares, “I, Sola Sobowale, believe in you. I trust you. Let’s go and show them, big time!”
Adetiba first revealed her plans for “King of Boys 3” back in April 2023, alongside two other upcoming projects. The original “King of Boys” debuted in 2018 as a gripping crime-political thriller and was followed by the Netflix series “King of Boys: The Return of the King” in 2021. The success of these projects has kept fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
